Joseph Borio: Many Diseases are Linked

Joseph Borio treats patients with a wide range of complaints, at his chiropractic office in Cicero, New York. Joseph Borio treats patients with everything from headaches to sports injuries, although chronic back pain is by far the most common complaint that he and other chiropractors treat.
Chiropractic has also been used to successfully treat arthritis. Chiropractic is especially effective in maximizing the function of an arthritic joint. When chiropractors treat arthritic patients, the goal is to restore joint function so that the patients can have the kind of lives that they want.

Chiropractic is effective in treating conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. “What research is showing,” Joe Borio said on one of his popular YouTube videos, “is that many of these disease are linked, or related to each other.” There can be a lack of low of what is called CSF, or cerebrospinal fluid, he explain. CSF nourishes the brain, and flows down through the spine, “and is essentially absorbed down in the lower part of the pelvis.” The vertebra in the neck are critical in allowing CSF to flow from the brain, he explains, so maintaining proper alignment is critical.
Joseph Borio received his chiropractic training at the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois.

Joseph Borio: Spinal Manipulation

Joseph Borio is a veteran chiropractor who has worked out of his office in Cicero, New York for more than twenty-five years. Joseph Borio is also the owner and President of Chiropassion Consulting, and the Borio Chiropractic Health Center.
As a chiropractor, he uses hands-on spinal manipulation and other techniques to treat his patients. When vertebrae go out of alignment, it is known as subluxation; the basic theory behind chiropractic is that misaligned spines prevent the body from healing itself. By manipulating subluxations, the spine is put back in proper alignment and the body is in its optimum state.
Once it is in its optimum state, the body is able to heal itself. Conditions that can be improved through chiropractic care include back and neck pain, athletic injuries, ADD/HD, reflux, headaches and migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, menopausal symptoms, ear infections, and many others. Even chronic sinus issues have seen improvement through chiropractic care.
In addition to his practice in Cicero, Joseph Borio hosts a YouTube series called Change Your Health Change Your Life with Dr. Joe Borio. A cooking enthusiast, he also hosts his own Italian cooking show on YouTube, Cooking Italian with Joe.

As he knows, about twenty-two million Americans visit chiropractors every year, many of them seeking treatment for back pain. Whether it’s the result of an accident, a sports injury, or some other cause, back pain is one of the most common reasons that people go to a chiropractor.
Chiropractors treat their patients with hands-on spinal manipulations called adjustments. The basic theory behind it is that the body’s musculoskeletal structure must be properly aligned in order to have optimal health. Many chiropractors also recommend exercises for their patients, as part of an overall strategy.
Joseph Borio studied at the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, where he earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1990.
